Dear simonart
you also could create an alias to the SilverFast Photoshop plug-in manually and put this in your Photoshop's Import-Export folder yourself.
The detailed description:
(1) Open your Finder / hard disk drive
(2) Navigate to /Applications/SilverFast Application
(3) Locate the Photoshop plug-in (an .8ba) file, probably in the sub folder "SilverFast (Scannername)"
(4) Create an alias to the plug-in there
An alias can be created by selecting the file and then choosing "Make alias" from the finder's "File" menu.
(5) Select the newly created alias and select "Copy" from the "Edit" menu
(6) Change to the folder /Applications/Photoshop/Plug-ins/Import-Export/
(7) Select "Paste" from the finder's "Edit" menu
This action should have created a shortcut in the import/export folder of Photoshop to the SilverFast Photoshop plug-in located in the SilverFast programme folder.
Restart Photoshop and check your File>Import plug-in list.

Re: Photoshop CS2 + Mac
Hi everybody, I am looking for a cheap black and white small printer. I am not sure why the Samsung printer is usually way cheaper than an HP and print quality is about the same. Does an HP B/W laser printer have higher yield toner cartridges or is it just a brand thing? What brand of black and white small office laser printer is cheaper to operate, Samsung or HP?
