Not Enough Memory for Prescan Epson 2450

Postby uta » Fri Apr 30, 2004 4:49 pm

I have read the other postings concerning this issue and have not found any useable solutions. I am using Mac 10.2.8 OS, Photoshop CS, Epson 2450/firewire scanner, Silverfastv6.2.1r2, over a gig of ram, over 100gigs of free HD space and a single monitor for trouble shooting this issue. The issue occurs only when I try to prescan in the transparency/ Neg film mode, reflective scanning does not cause this error. This memory error issue only happened after I updated to my current version. I would appreciate any further trouble shooting tips or solutions.
Thanks--

Advice that worked- from SilverFast Tech support

re-set the program :

go to

applications/photoshop/plugins/import-export/silverfast

and delete the ?prefs?- folder from there.

also go to

users/username/library/preferences/lasersoft Imaging/silverfast

And delete the prefs- folder as well.

Then, please restart Silverfast.
