installation of version 4 with windows XP

I can not intall Silverfast with XP it freezes at "searching Photoshop plug in folder" What should I do?????????????? Thanks Curt Carnemark ccarnemark@cox.rr.com

Dear Anonymous,
SilverFast 4 was made long before Windows XP was known. LaserSoft Imaging is currently testing SilverFast 5.5 versions for XP compatibiliy. At the moment there is no SilverFast version guaranteed to be fully compatible to Windows XP. If you try SilverFast on Windows XP, please use a recent SilverFast demo version.
