HELP!! photoshop 7 (win xp) cannot open silverfast lab files

hi, dear readers of this forum - if have a weird problem. i scanned some images in lab-color mode with some silverfast sw (an older version, which was delivered with the "linotype hell" scanner about 4 years ago) on a mac (OS 9.2.1).

The images opened without problems on apple computers, but not on photoshop 7 on my windows comp. (win xp professional). only the greyscale lab images appeared to open, the other formats are not recognized.

is there any workaround on this?

any help will be appreciated.

Dear Tomasio.

Which Photoshop Version are you using on the Mac ?
Can you open the lab files on WinXP after you saved them on the Mac ?.

i used psd 7 and psd 5.5 on the mac (os X.10.3 (jaguar) and psd 7.01 on win xp. problem is, i cant save the files on a psd for mac, because i have only pc at home
