Hello

I have a Nikon 2000 scanner, Windows 98 SE, Silverfast v.4 and Photoshop 6.

At first everything worked fine. Then I could not save to disk the files that I had just scanned into Photoshop. The error from Photoshop was "Could not complete your request because of a program error". I could work on them in photoshop and print, but not save.

Everything was reinstalled (Photoshop and Silverfast) and I was able to scan and save 5 pictures. Then the same error occurred.

Any ideas?

Mike.

1. Are you sure, you have enough disk space left on your harddisk?
PhotoShop allocates a temporary file on your harddisk, which are two or three times the size of your images. Of course, this file is deleted, when you quit Photoshop, but when you work with several images simultaniously, the temporary file will grow.

2. Did you try to scan directly to file in SilverFast ? This is just to check, whether it is a general problem or not.

Eric.
