Epson 4990+Silverfast6.4.4r7+Windows Vista RTM = Random hang

Hi !
I just moved to Vista from Windows XP and experiencing random hangs during scan with my Epson 4990. Epson Scan utility works flawessly. Tried both USB and Firewire ports. It seems Silverscan have compatibility issues with Vista. Please help.

It seems your "Internal Testing Center" is either lazy or overloaded. It was more than a month ago when I reported this problem. I can open a support ticket with product support or simply ask MS to to put Silverfast to a Non Vista compliant softwares list.
