This program came bundled with Epson scanner. Before I spend money to get phone support, I would like to know if this program will to anything toward photo restoration, that photoshop 9 wont.

Dear nvsater

yes, it can scan. That's not as ridiculous as it might sound to you - please image that the best way to correct image defaults is not to have any.
It is best not to introduce defects to your image in the scanning part of your imaging workflow and that's exactly why you want to use a software with reknown for it's high profile scanning qualities.
