Postby wooliudo » Mon Dec 29, 2008 1:45 am

i'm using the latest silverfast SE Plus, with Nikon Coolscan V ED, in leopard.

however i can't find the "negative direct" mode, and i can hardly find any info on google.

and by the way, i don't know why my usb scanner will be identified as a scsi one.

Dear Woolludo,

The option "Negative Direct" was present in previous versions of SilverFast which were based on the Nikon Maid driver, since Nikon decided not to support further operating systems for its driver (only up to 10.3.9) we had to develop a complete new version of SilverFast totally independent from the Nikon maid driver which will be compatible with Leopard. Hence the "Negative direct feature" is not available in the latest version of SilverFast for Mac OS X.

You scanner identifies itself as a SCSI scanner even though it is indeed a USB scanner.

Thanks for your interest and have a nice day
