using undo with negafix is broken

Postby anthony » Wed Dec 13, 2006 9:15 pm

There seem to be several problems when using undo with negafix.

First, undo doesn't update the image displayed. If I start with one film type and then change it to another, undo will change the film type back but the image will stay the same.

Second, undo does not always reset the right setting. For example, if I start with an exposure setting of 0 and change it to .5, undo correctly changes it back to 0 (but without updating the image). If I then change the exposure to 1.0 and undo, the setting is changed to .5. It should have changed to 0.

I see these problems in both 6.4.4r7 and 6.5r3 demo.

Also, undo has no effect on the auto-tolerance slider in 6.4.4r7 (I didn't test this in 6.5r3).

Anthony

dear anthony,

plesae delete once the folder " LaserSoft Imaging " -while SilverFast isn?t running.

On a typical Windows XP installation, the " Lasersoft Imaging " folder is to be found at: C: \ Documents and Settings \ (your username) \ Application Data \ Lasersoft Imaging

On a typical Mac OS X installation, the " LaserSoft Imaging " folder is to be found at:
/ User / (your username) / Library / Preferences / LaserSoft Imaging

Please check now whether this does improve the situation or not.

If there is any problem left please use our online support:

kind regards

Hi Christoph,

I verified that this is still a problem with Silverfast HDR 6.5.0r4 (running on a Mac G5 with OS X 10.4.8). I have deleted my preferences multiple times in order to deal with previous license issues. My original post gives steps for reproducing the problem. If you or others cannot reproduce the problem then I will file a support request, but it really looks to me like a software bug.

Regards,
Anthony
