scanning 35 mm Kodacolor X negatives

Does anyone know what the Negafix film profile is for Kodacolor X film (sold by Kodak during the 1960s)? I want to scan using Silverfast.

Dear Ronzobonzo,

There is no specific NegaFix profile for the Kodacolor X film. In this case you will have to create your own profile using the expert dialoge in SilverFast Ai or Ai Studio.

However, for a person, such as myself, unfamiliar with the technique of creating a NegaFix profile using the expert dialogue in SilverFast Ai -- I continue to ask the forum, has anyone previously created a NegaFix profile for Kodacolor X? I shall certainly appreciate any help I can receive. I have many thousands of negatives to scan, but I am a newcomer to the subtle techniques involved in creating good color scans. Thanks! Ron
