Hello,
I am using Silverfast 8 AI received with the Plustek 120 film scanner.
When I execute an IT8 color profile, it works well but it doesn't let me naming the profile as indicated in the manual. (It automatically say profile existing, do you want to owverwrite it ? (Cannot update the name).
It seems to save the profile under the SF_T plustek (Opticfilm 120) in my local (user) user/library/colorsync/profiles folder.
Also, in CMS there is a yellow exclamation point (is it because I am using negafix ? Should I deactivate negafix to use the profile ? How to do that ? (I suppose profile would be more accurate).
When you click auto CCR - does that activate the profile ?
Thanks for help
Regards
Yves

Re: Profile naming - use
Dear customer,
Are you possibly working with reduced user rights?
The IT8 calibration requires administrator rights or the ICC profiles can not be overwritten.
Custom names can be activated in the preferences' auto tab.
The automatic IT8 calibration automatically activates the profile.
It is used for all processes including the image auto adjustment (e.g. auto CCR).
Yes NegaFix uses its own special film profiles.
A separate ICC profile can not be used.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
