I work on Silverfast AI Studio, with negative Fuji Reala 100, and Nikon LS 4000.
During a long time, I try to scan this film, but I was not satisfied by the color.
I just find a way to improve this.
In Silverfast AI, I scan in 48 bit HDR, with no profil inside the file.
In Silverfast HDR, I invert the picture, with Negafix (Scanner Nikon, Brand Fuji, Type Superia, Iso Reala 100), and save the file with with NO ICM Profil inside the file.
In Silverfast HDR, I open again this file (the positive picture), but, before, I set the ICM entry profil to "LS4000LS40_N v4.0.0..2000".
I don't remember where this profil come from, Nikon software or Silverfast ?
After, I apply the automatic setting, adjust the white balance, and save file with enbeded profil "Adobe98".
With this method, the red are less aggressive, and the color more realistic.
What do you think about ?
Negafix & Nikon 4000 - Working method ?

Dear Jean-Marc,
It is a good way to go, all steps you have described are correct. However you should also have the "Fuji Superia Reala 100" included in your version of SilvreFast Ai.
Although Fuji lists it as "Fuji Superia Reala 100" today. Probably there was another version which was known as "Fuji Reala" this two different types of film had a different color curves, perhaps you can achieve the save results as expected directly in SilverFast Ai.
Cheers
