negafix for epson 4870

I have some problem in scanning b&w negative films, are there any profiles for b&w? Where? I work on PC

If you want to generate your own profiles, please check out the SilverFast Ai Negafix guide and Ian Lyon's tutorial. These documents are linked at:

I suspect your problem is caused by the use of ICE with black and white negative film material. Please note that this isn't possible. See ASF's own FAQ entry on this matter: http://www.asf.com/support/Scanners/Fil ... s.shtml#Q2

thanks for the attention, I'll read the tutorial; about the profiles may I use them even if I have an epson scanner? On the page is written

"Download corrected (optimized) NegaFix Profiles, for all scanners except for Nikon Maid, Kodak, Epson, PIE"
