Kodak T400CN profile for Ai 5

I'm trying to scan kodak's T400CN b+w C41 process film on a Microtek 4500T film scanner using Silverfast Ai 5. I cann't seems to get a decent scan under any of the existing colour neg profiles or the monochrome setting. I have been using all the manual controls in addition to the profiles but without much luck. Do I need to upgrade to 5.5 with Negafix to get the necessary controls/profiling? Or is there an alternative? Any thoughts anyone?

Upgrade to NegaFix needed for best negative film results
