Job manager: Film Type automation

Postby jdava » Thu Oct 19, 2006 1:20 am

I am using Job Manager to scan negatives.

After I add the negatives to the que, I copy the parameters using a master negative that I have previously saved.

I select everything on the "copy scan negatives" page.

I then prescan the first negative. All the parameters from the master are used (2 scans, ICE, 2700 DPI, Q=1.5 and screen =1800.

The only setting that I have to remember to change every time is the type of film on "Film type and exposure. In this case I have to change from "Other" to Kodak.

I am sure that SF have solved this problem; it is too obvious. I will really apreciated some help to fix this.

Thanks

Dear jdava

a different workflow will help. Set the film type and exposure first, then add the images to the JobManager, et voila - they will be added with set film material type and exposure value.
