I have just bought a new scanner (Canon 8600f) with Silverfast SE:is very fast and easy to use.
I have only one problem (BIG).
During scanning the negative film I can set the type of film, the
resolution and so on without problem, but how can I obtain positive images? The preview is positive but when I scan my image (I mean export into photoshop) or save it to jpg file I obtain everytime Negative files!!
Obviously I need for positive images!!
Thank you
Potomo
How can I obtain positive images from negative?

Hi,
in order to apply the NegaFix profile you have to select Scan Type to 48-> 24 Bit rather than 48 Bit HDR Color. In the 48Bit HDR mode you just make a plain RAW Scan without applying any color correction or Negafix Profile.
Thank you for using SilverFast
Kind regards
