Generic Gray Profile

I just puchased an Epson 4990 scanner with Ai bundled. In reading the "Offical Guide to Silverfast", it suggests the use of either the Generic Gray Profile.icc or a custom profile I have created. This is to chosen in the "Grey" field of the CMS tab in Options. The only choice that appears is <None>.

As part of the bundle, I also received MonacoEZcolor and color targets. I created color profiles for reflective material and transparencies, but I didn't see any way to created a grayscale profile.

Where do I find the "Generic Gray Profile.icc" or how do I create a custom one?

The Generic Grey profile is automaticly installed on Mac systems, but not on PC system.
At normal you don't need any Grey profile. These are "simulated" profiles for better using in a ICM workflow, but a correct set gamma is enough.
