1. i know this is perhaps personal preference, but does anyone find the reala or superia 100 profiles too contrasty and saturated?
2. i can deal with the saturated issue--ie just bring down the saturation in photoshop. however with the increased contrast, is there something i could do to decrease contrast other than the usual (ie putting the dark point at 0 and light point at 255 etc...)... could perhaps silverfast improve their profile for these fuji films or is it some inherent property of the film? it doesn't seem to be an inherent property of the film, because via v**s**n, it comes out looking... normal and thus i assume it's the silverfast profile.
thanks. harry

reala 100 with epson 2450 and Microtek 4000tf
I've been getting great results with the reala 100 negafix profile
on the epson 2450 and the mtek 4000tf. I don't find the saturation or
contrast abnormal given that is the what you're after with reala.

to the above question:
1. i'm using the polaroid 120 scanner.
2. i have to assume that the profile for reala & superia is NOT correct, simply because i get great results with the kodak films (namely supra and royal gold 100)... AND the fuji films scan great with v**s**n profiles.
3. updated profiles or suggestions to help get better scans would be appreciated, mainly because i'm now having to use fuji films!
