I'm having trouble with black & white negatives. Color negatives are working fine.
BW negatives 'Prescan' fine. The image on the screen looks fine. But the saved image is junk! Mostly all black with some wide diagonal black marks. The film is old, 1930's to 1950's vintage.
Most of the roles are marked "Kodak Plus-X", but there is also "Kodak Super X", "Kodak Panotomic X", "Agfa Finopan", and even some "Kodak Nitrate".
I've tried using a color NegaFix. Again, the Prescan looks fine on-screen, but the save image is still junk - mostly black with wide diagonal black stripes.
Any suggestions on what to try?

Re: BW Negatives not saving correctly
Dear customer,
Please make sure the infrared based scratch and dust removal (iSRD) is deactivated. The silver halide emulsion of B&W films blocks the infrared channel of the scanner and therefor can not be used for the corrections.
You can use SRDx instead.
Kind regards,
Arne
