48-bit colour scans from negative

I have been using SilverFast since 5.0. I currently use 6.01r23 for the Nikon SuperCoolscan 8000ED. When scanning in 48-bit colour mode (not HDR!) I get a negative image with orange mask. According to the docs, these should be positive (reversed and corrected) scans.

Has this been fixed in an update?

I have experienced the same thing with 6.0.1r47 for the LS-2000. Most of the other bugs from the original OS X vesion have been fixed, but not this one.
