Works and doesn't work for LS1400

In 10.1.5 SilverFast can't see the scanner. In 10.2.2 it sees the scanner showing it on all SCSI ID numbers, when it's on ID3, but does not involve it in the scanning process. In other words, when commanded the software does its thing, but the scanner doesn't budge. No acton on the scanners part.

Any words of wisdom?

You might have the scanner connected to a SCSI controller card that is not truely OSX 10.2.2 compatible. Please check at manufacturer's web site.

The SCSI card that I am using is one a very few that is supported and recommended by Apple for this machine and the OS.
