Using Omnipage for Heidelberg Linoscan

Hi,

Our company is using a Heidelbergscanner for scanning documents. The company uses Omnipage as standard scansoftware. Does anyone know if Omnipage can be used in combination with the Heidelbergscanner?

Dear Mr. van de Ruit,
as far as i know, Omnipage can scan the Text via TWAIN Interface on the PC ( assuming that you are talking about the PC Version ).

The SilverFast version that is available for many Heidelberger Scanners is also available as TWAIN, this should work fine with Omnipage.

You could give it a try by using the demo version of SilverFast.
Please notice that the Demo Version will place a Watermark in the final scan, so the text recocnition itself will probably fail, but you could try the general workflow and usage.
