First it would like to be thankful for the persistence in the development of a new software for control of them to scanner Linotype and Heidelberg, I am very happy in being able to use a Apple Power Mac G5 with the Topaz.
My bigger necessity is to use the Primescan that is to scanner a
little less versatil but that it makes possible me to make great
magnifyings with quality that is the focus of my work.
I saw that in the stack of devices supported for siver fast is the Linotype Tango, my question I am if the Linotype Tango is not the same machine that the Heidelberg Primescan, since some parts it has the mark Linotype Hell, will be that the difference is not only the indentification for the "Apple System Profiler" that intentify in Slide bars SCSI of the Mac OS X "Heidelberg Primescan D7XXX/8XXX" instead of "Linotype Tango"?
I say that since already I am disponible to test the software for primescan
D7100 and will make what it will have to my reach to help.
Best Regards.

Dear Yeroe,
thank you for your "thumbs up" :-)
We will try to also support the PrimeScan, however with Vista and Leopard around the corner we are very busy right now, but i hope to get a chance within the next weeks to visit a PrimeScan customer and to see how similar it is to the Tango.
I have high hopes in this regard, we will post the news on our website as soon as it happens.
Greetings,

Nils, Thank for You atemption.
I see that still a hope wire exists, despite out of the Heidelberg of the pre press and dtp market giving long life to these machines with Laser Soft software, Lino Color is a good software but the the market wants greater speed to each day in our works and with old computers of the one not to make this.
Thank You!
Sorry for my bad english!
