Heidelberg 2650 firewire

It says FireWire is only supported via a scsi adapter. Does this mean it does not work through the FireWire cable or just not supported?

Dear customer,

Some devices of the Heidelberg 2650 series have a build in FireWire port which is not supported.

The scanner can only be attached through SCSI.
For this the SCSI to FireWire adapter is supported.

kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

I take that as it doesn't work then. Any chance you will get it to work in the future?

Kevin.

Not really, there are no plans to make any implementation of the firewire port for this scanner model in the near future
