Difference between Jade and Jade II?

Folks,

anyone out there who can tell me the difference between Linotype Jade and Jade II. I have the original Jade and the Scan Boostar Premium, together with the transparency adapter from Vobis (i was told this is the Jade II). Which is the better one, if any?
