Request: copying Exposure in JM, opening converted RAW files

Postby Gregory C » Tue Jun 21, 2005 12:45 pm

hi.

I'm now using SF HDR Studio to process my Canon 350D CR2 RAW images. I've run into a couple of problems and have related requests.
  1. many of my images are 'underexposed' by SF. I have to use Picture Settings/Exposure to increase the exposure.
Request: that I can copy the Exposure adjustment between items in the JM job queue.
  2. Request: that we can save the cached converted RAW images independently and open them directly from disk. there are picture controls available to us when opening CR2 RAW that are not available when opening HDR files so I'd prefer to open CR2 RAW files. I don't like waiting for the conversion though so being able to open the converted RAW files directly would be the ideal solution.

regards,
Gregory

1. What version do you use ? hopefully 6.4.2r1, which enhance the Quality of the 350D. There are new profiles in, and the exposure should be set better.

2. Currently you need to use a larger cache. The files, where the converted images are in could not be used independently, cause not all other informations (exif, whitebalance, ..) are saved in there. And some of them are needed to handle the Image in SilverFast.

kind regards
