I have just upgraded to the latest version of HDR Studio (2.4.2r5c) and find that when reloading a saved 'Job' in JM it can't find the images even though they haven't moved. Is it using a relative path rather than absolute? So anyway, I do a 'Search', then 'Change All' and it crashes as it's loading the preview images. Is there any way to modify the Job info file manually? I re-installed the previous version just to check and all was ok.
Just noticed this seems to be very similar to a problem posted by kmlevine on Mar 11, 2004.
I was hoping this release would solve the general unstable nature of the Job Manager, but no luck. Decided to start posting here since I'm still waiting on other support help (unanswered ticket #2005081602291 16th August)
Job Manager Problem after installing new HDR Version
Dear Sydney
after testing the issue I am afraid I have to acknowledge that a difference in the structure of the jobs between certain versions of SilverFast might cause the problem.
Unfortunately this would mean that you need to recreate the jobs, as the transforming from "old" the "new" structure didn't succeed in your special case.
Please apologize the inconveniences caused by this.
