I also get the iSDR misalignment.
This is more than an annoyance since the my reason for purchasing SilverFast Archive 8 was to separate the scan from the processing which is the very reason that Archive exists.
I cannot scan my slides for archiving until the issue is resolved.

I have just upgraded to SilverFast Archive 8.
I am using an Epson V750.
1) If I use EpsonScan, Digital Ice works perfectly.
2) If I use SilverFast Studio, iSRD works perfectly.
3) If I use SilverFast 8 Studio and scan as 64 bit HDRi and then edit in Silverfast 8 HDR, I get an iSRD misalignment.
Based on 1) and 2) the problem is not with the scanner or the scan but either with the save to HDRi or the import to SilverFast 8 HDR.

We are currently working on this issue with highest priority.
But I can not give a date for the corrected version yet.

Dear customer,

This issue is still being worked on.
Unfortunately the necessary adjustments are rather extensive.
But we make good progress and this will soon be fixed.

kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

I hope that this iSRD misalignement is not inherent to the scanning process and that it is not a software error at the source scan otherwise most of my scans are useless !

I am very, very disappointed! I bought your software, thinking that it seems to be the best on the market, and now a lot of my scans, if not all are more or less useless after more than 5000 scans each taking about 9 minutes. Imagine the time lost and the wear of my scanner. How is it possible this issue has not been detected earlier in the lifecycle of the software.

VERY DISAPPOINTING, this is faulty software in its essence....

Unfortunately we first had to find the source of this issue which was quite difficult.
It was not quite clear where this was caused.

I am sorry about the inconvenience this has caused.

kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
