I need to batch process all my HDRi 64 TIFF files but keep the same filename for output in different folder.
I can't find how to do this basic job.
Have been trying with VLT and Job manager but no way to keep same filename for output file.
Software : Silverfast HDR version 8.5.0r6 build 15165
Urgent help needed and very appreciated.
Marc,

Dear Marc,
To keep the name do not change any settings in the batch-scan save dialog.
If you do not change anything and press process directly the name/path from the Image-Dimensions Dialog will be used.
You can copy the output path using the copy function in the JobManager.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

Re: HowTo batch process HDRi64 and keep same filename
Sorry but i can't follow ... if i do so the name in image dimensions is set to untitled.
The question is about HDR and batch processing of a complete folder or by using VLT and Job manager
This is how i start
1. Start SilverFast 8.5 HDR studio
2. Image->Scanmode->File ==> select a image, set iSRD, select correct film for NegaFix. This in the hope that all images will be processed with the same settings by Job manager
3. Select VLT and add all images to be processed to the Job Manager.
4. in the job manager i copy the settings of the first to all. "Apply to all" (this should be default!!!).
5. Start job
6. Select in Save as the output folder.
7. Name is set to Untitled!!!
8. Click process
9. Result in output folder First image is named "untitled.jpg" second image uses the Metadata information as Filename NOT the Filename from the source file!
I guess the software is using the MetaData information and this not equal to the Filename!

Re: HowTo batch process HDRi64 and keep same filename
Dear Marc,
Like I said do not change ANY setting in the save as dialog.
If you do so the name in the save as dialog is being used.
You must set the name and path in the Image dimensions dialog and directly press process in the Save as dialog.
You can copy the path and or name in the JobManager, so you do not have to do this for each image.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
