HDR Studio deletes EXIF data

When I process an image with HDR Studio (V6.4.0r8b), the processed jepg image only includes EXIF data set by Silverfast (date of modifcation ..).

Is there somewhere an option where I can tell Si HDR to keep the EXIF data of my original file (i do not mind if it changes the modification data, but fields like "original date of capture" should not get lost ) ?

here is what I found:

I had files scanned with Ai 6.2.3r3 (nikon). then I used the program Exifer to add creation date. When I process this file with HDR Studio 6.0.4 it deletes the old exif data.

HDR Studio does not delete EXIF data from images taken with a digital camera and from images processed with HDR Studio 6.0.4 (even if I edit the EXIF info with another program)

Now I looked at the EXIF data inserted by the Ai 6.2.3r3 and they look a bit strange (lots of 0s at the start), so i believe it was this what caused my problem.
