detection of camera in hdr studio?

hi, i got now my upgrade from hdr to hdr-studio and i tried to connect and import pictiures from my Canon S45 Digitalcamera to hdr. But hdr doesn't detect the camera.
All other Programms wich are able to import directily from a camera are able to do this, exept hdr-studio.

Im working with a G4 867 and Mac OSX.4 (Tiger).
My hdr-studio-version is 6.4.1r.7d

What is the Problem?
I also tried to use the demo of DC-Studio with the same result.
My camera is connected via an usb-hub.

If i follow the documentation hdr should detect the camera automatically and should show the dialog for importing. Also manually clicking on the "disc-icon" (i have the german version so i dont know how you'll call it) has no pos. results.

How to fix this, please?

SilverFast registers the Camera only, if this is running in Discmode, so it will be regonized as device on OS X.Then you could use either the Import dialog or by automatic (switched in the Import dialog).
