problems with color inversion

Postby aschrofel » Tue Mar 29, 2011 11:21 am

Hello,
I have problems while scanning B/W negatives. Everything goes well, prescan shows me the frames of negative in correct color (that means inverted with regard to negative). When I want to run regular scan with scan type 16-->8 Bit Grayscale, I obtain normal result in nature colors. But when I run 16 Bit HDR Grayscale, the result is inverted again (the same as negative). Am I wrong? Doing something bad?

Sample picture is here:

Thanks for your answer and help.

Dear Adam,

16bit HDR is a raw archive format for our SilverFast ArchiveSuite workflow.
It is saved unchanged with no filters or corrections to be opened in our SilverFast HDR (Studio) software.

kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
