HDR Question
I just tried scanning a negative using 48 bit HDR. In previous versions it inverted the file when brought into PS. Now it has to be done manually. It's not a big deal but I found the 5.2 version to work a little better. I did this with a Nikon LS2000 and a Linocolor Saphir version. Is there a reason this is not working anymore?

Negative Scans with SilverFast into 48 bit HDR versus Scans with SF Ai and NegaFix
When scanning with SilverFast Ai into 48 bit HDR you are scanning into a raw data file. Nikon Scan does a conversion also on the raw data when scanning negative. From SilverFast 5.5 on we are not doing this any more because we introduced NegaFix to have much better control over the negative than Nikon.
If you successfully want to scan negatives with SilverFast Ai you should use NegaFix to do the conversion.
If you want to scan into raw 48 bit data you can of course use SilverFast HDR with NegaFix to do the conversion later!
