HDR Purchase

I just received Silverfast Ai. On the CD holder and the CD both Ai and HDR have a check mark next to them. Also on the CD case are serial numbers for both, but I can only find Ai on the CD. Is this a typo or will them demo of HDR take the serial number I have

The demo should accept the serial number you have.

Thanks for the reply, the demo version of HDR simply runs in demo mode, it will not accept the serial #, in fact I cannot even enter it. I have found a thread which talks about HDR being bundled with Ai when purchased for Nikon CS4000. I guess I will call the sales office tomorrow

You may need to use the demo version from the web site rather than from the CD.

I had to download from the site, there is literally no reference to HDR on the install CD for Ai, even though the CD label has both Ai an dHDR checked off. Oh well

The demos cannot be serialised. They are missing some vital code.

1. The demos are demos only and can never be serialized as Ian Lyons mentioned.
2. The Ai version acquires images from your scanner (different scanners need different Ai versions).
3. The HDR version acquires images from files on your harddisk (tiff, jpeg and psd files).
