Hello,
I use SilverFast HDR v.6 and can't open or save any ".hdr" files.
In the help manual was written that SilverFast HDR supports the file format ".hdr". If I scan a picture with 48bit hdr color with SilverFast AI, I can only choose .tif/.eps/.jpg to save it.
And I have some .hdr pictures on my computer which I wanted to open with SilverFast HDR, but this doesn't work.
I would be very happy if someone can help me.
Thank you very much,
hanica
can't open .hdr files with SilverFast HDR
Dear hanica
there's no specific .HDR format to save you raw scans into. You can confidently choose e.g. TIFF.
The important thing about the HDR scanning mode is that the CCD's data won't be adjusted but delivered uncorrected (into the file format choosen). Thus the actually processing can be delayed and done with a specifc output purpose later-on.
Or stated differently: This is about workflow, not yet another file format.
