Where to go from SilverFast SE?

Postby Bob » Wed Sep 14, 2005 7:39 pm

Greetings -
I am a brand new user of SilverFast - got SE bundled with an Epson 4990 Photo.
Went through losing DICELib.dll - found the solution here - please fix that :(

SRD works wonderfully, but seems very limited. I can't see or work on all of the image in the SRD window, and can only do one layer. I want to get the full capability of SRD for the work we are doing with very old prints.

What version of SilverFast should I move up to? Am I missing something in the way I am using SE?

Thanks - glad this forum is here

Bob

Dear Bob

(i)SRD is more capable in the full-blown Ai Studio than in the consumer SE of course. Please have a look at the iSRD documentation addendum:
https://www.silverfast.com/documentation/en.html

Please feel free to download an Ai Studio demo version (from our website at: Download -> SilverFast demo.

This way you can easily assure yourself that your personal systems configuration does work before buying anything.
Thus you are able to explore all the features of SilverFast and check if it suits your needs.

Thanks - I'll look at AI. I hope this isn't Epson giving me a software package that isn't fully capable so I have to spend more money to buy what is needed.

But onward -

Bob
