What's up with 6.2.2 for Perfection 4870?

There is a version 6.2.2r1 for the Perfection 4870 around since 9/9/2004 but still no entry in the versions history.

Since the step from 6.2.1rx to 6.2.2 seems a bit larger than the previous ones I wonder what has changed and wether installing it would benefit me.
