unable to scan transparencies

hi - i just upgraded to ai from se - and i am no longer given the option under the 'general card' for my 'original' to choose between reflective and non-reflective - i only have four choices/toggles instead of the five i am supposed to have - - please help

please have a look at this very similar problem:

Although this is another scanner, the solution will probably work for you, too.
