Hello,
Since the latest software update, my Corel Photopaint is not able anymore to read the TIF file made with my scanner.
I haven't updated my Corel suite for a while so I guess the issue is in Silverfast.
Were there any changes to that matter in the latest update ?
I'm using SilverFast SE Version 8.8.0r8, 17938.
Corel Photopaint X6.
As a workaround, I scan as "PSD" which Corel can open.
Regards

Re: TIF corrupted
Dear user,
no there have been no changes regarding the Tiff output.
Which bit depth did you select?
How large are the files?
Please test if deactivating the HiRePP feature in the preferences' special tab makes a difference. Maybe Corel Photopaint cannot open multi layer tiffs.
Kind regards,
Arne

Re: TIF corrupted
Hello,
I've tested a scan with/without HiRePp activated (this doesn't change anything to the size of the file).
I've tested both config with a "big scan" (A4, 24 bits, 300dpi) and a smaller part of the A4 (+-A6). None can be opened.
What is strange is that I'm using the same worklfow (Epson V700/Silverfast SE => TIF/Corel Photopaint ("PP")) for many years.
Scanning with my alternative worklow (Epson V700/Epson Scan => TIF /PP) and scanning directly with PP and the WIA pilot work fine.
I can also open larger tif than those, I can open SilverFast scans, same size, but from earlier SF versions.
This is only with the latest SilverFast version that it does not work.
