Hi there,
I do alot of work in Silverfast before scanning.
When i import into photoshop CS2 I do some work also but i do try and get colours right in silverfast version 6.6.1r3.
I have noticed that when i do my colour correction in Silverfast I try to do it to a high level and it looks great.
But when i scan the corrected image and it opens in photoshop CS2 It is not the true image i saw in Silverfast. There is always a cast over the image . The cast is never uniform (magenta or Cyan or green etc) so i have to readjust in photoshop.
I'm using a Mac 0sx 10.4.11.
Epson V750
Photoshop Cs2
Work space : Adobe RGB(1998)
cmyk: iso coated v2 300% (ECI)
Is there some settings I should know about , so what i see in Silverfast is what i will see in photoshop?
Any help on this issue would be appreciated.
Thanks.
D

Re: Silverfast corrected scan is not the same in photoshop?
Dear Diego,
Perhaps your color management settings in photoshop are different than those in SilverFast. You should check both and correct in photoshop for the same profiles to be used as in SilverFast. Perhaps the monitor profile is different in both application producing this difference in the preview.
Cheers
