Silverfast AI6 and WiziWYG

Postby scpong » Thu Feb 13, 2003 7:32 pm

Hi!

I have an Epson Perfection 2450, Photoshop 7, and Windows XP. I also have praxisoft WiziWYG including the IT8.

I'm planning to get SF AI 6 without the IT8 calibration.

Questions:

Can I still use the profile from the WiziWYG scanner calibration with SF AI6? If so, what are the steps to use the profile with SF AI6?

thanks!

Sanford

As long as the Wyziwyg software produces a ICC profile (in Windows environment with the suffix .ICM) you can select this in SilverFast's Options > CMS dialog (only in SilverFast Ai versions).

CMS dialog:
profiles for ICM > Scanner reflective or Scanner transparency, depending on what profile you created.
