Silverfast 8 job manager

Can anyone please explain how to use the job manager in version 8? Yes I have read the new job manager PDF but this does not explain in sufficient detail how to use it.

I was very familiar with the job manager in version 6.6 but I don't have a clue how to edit each individual frames and save the edits in version 8.

I see all the frames in the job manager and double clicking on one causes the scanner to generate a larger preview.

But how to I edit the individual job manager frame to apply adjustments? In version 6.6 there was an edit button. There is no such button in version 8.

I am using the latest download version 8.0.1r16 of Ai Studio on Win7 64 bit.

Dear customer,

You do not need to save the changes the same way as in SilverFast 6.
The SilverFast 8 JobManager will keep the information when you change to another JobManager entry.
(something like the "pencil button" in SF6 does not exist anymore.)

OK thanks for the reply but how do I save edits to an entry in the job manager before moving onto the next one?

The traffic light never turns green and remains dark grey.

Dear customer,

You do not have to save edits.
They are stored automatically.

The traffic light turns green after processing.
