SF_App stand alone , stand alone ??

Hi All,

I'm setting up a new computer system using a P4 and XP PRO. The software for digital photo editing ( same as on my existing computer) will be Picture Window Pro 3.1h and the scanner is the Epson 3200.
My question is this ; will SilverFast Ai 6 with SF_App , a "stand alone application" , indeed , stand alone and work without other software --twains , etc ? According to what information I've gotten , the scan is transfered to drive C: , which is fine by me.
Prior to purchasing SilverFast , I'd sure like to know.

The only thing needed is the low level driver from the scanner manufacturer (INF file + probably some additional DLLs), meaning that the scanner is identified correctly in the device manager.
Apart from that SilverFast will really work stand alone.

In addition,

be sure to install the PhotoShop plugin with SF_App, since SF_App is not working with TWAIN.
