SF Launcher.exe has a problem

I have upgraded to SF AI Studio ver. 6.5.0r.6 for Epson perfection 4870 Photo. Quite often when I do a scan, SF comes to "scanning to file" and then stops, telling: "SF Launcher.exe has problem and has to be closed down". When i press error searching it tells "drwtsn32.exe has a problem and has to be closed down". Occasionally a scan comes through and get saved correctly. But most of the time SF stops working and is in fact useless. The Epson software that came with the scanner works OK. I'm on Win XP pro. Is there a solution? - Geir
