SF 6.5.0r4a terrible FIND IMAGE FRAME results

By applying this version of SF with the Epson V750 Pro SF was able to frame 4 slides out of 20 correctly, another 5 slides were framed but very unprice.

Is this a problem at my end, would this be a problem with the software.

I am a demo user, prepared to purchased a 100% working software at once.

I have the same problem with my 4890 with either slides or neg strips.
I've reported the problem and sent sample scans/ We'll see if this gets any better in upcoming updates. However, right now this is a useless feature.

...I am back to the Epson scanner software providet with the scanner as this gives me excellent result. However I would a believed that a software developer would be steps ahead of Epson in this regard. What to you use until SF becomes better. Are there any other developers that is worth looking at that make software for our scanners?

a colleague is working on the Find Frame Problems on your scanner ( as Mike also reported the problem ).
I hope we have a working version anytime soon...

Well, r5 is now released and the list of improvement doesn't include anything about improving auto frame detect :(
Is that just an oversight and auto frame detect has been improved????????
Is there a reason to download this update?
