Hello I am currently using Silverfast Ai studio 8, latest version, and my scanner is an Epson V700.
I am experiencing issues on frame detection for 35mm films.
Every time I use find frame---->Filmstrip 35mm holder, Silverfast return an error stating:
"A holder is not properly placed in position on the flatbed. Please adjust.
Please assure a properly placed holder to improve the Auto Frame Detection results.
No reference points were found in proposed area!"
However I am sure that the film holder has been placed properly, as scanning with other software such as Epson scan has no issues.
Furthermore the frame will still be detected but there would be issues with frame alignment.
Anyone knows what's causing the issue?

Re: Problems with frame detection and alingment
Dear user,
is this an original EPSON film holder?
Third party holders are not supported. For these you need to use the general 35mm film search.
Please make sure all the little holes at the beginning of the film holder are visible. (near the calibration area).
These are used to detect the alignment of the film holder.
Kind regards,
Arne
