Preview Thumbnail Format & Bit Depth From Silverfast SF

Postby Browkatowski » Thu Mar 31, 2005 7:08 pm

HI. New user here trying to figure out what type and bit depth a preview file is from a Silverfast scanned file. Currently using 6.2.0.r4. When we pull the images into Quark, the files appear as black blotches or are so pixilated we can't figure out what the image is. Supplied documentation doesn't say anything about the thumbnail format and where you can set this parameter.

Dear Browkatowski

our internal documentation staff is working with Quark and they had no problems with standard file > import.

Version: pls update
pull images: drap-and-drop support, um, "patchy" in Quark. You want to use standard file > import method.
Pixalation: adequate DPI settings?

Best regards
