Preview color problem... (6x7 color negative scan)

Hello everyone,

Please help!

I have just set up my new scanner (Epson V700) with the SilverFastSE software. I have tried making my first scan but the "Preview" image is drastically different than what the negative should look like in reality. You can see the settings I have selected + the "Preview" image I refer to in this screenshot:












Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you very much.

Dear Josh

You are trying to scan a negative stripe which is a transparent material. I think it might help if you switch from "reflective" to "transparency".
