Has anyone had any luck getting an Epson Perfection 1650 Photo running in OSX using SilverFast AI 5.52R12? I tried the beta Epson OSX Twain driver and have been only able to aquire through Photoshop 7 using the Epson OSX Twain driver. SilverFast does not recognized the scanner as being turned on through the standalone app. or aquire through PS7. Am I stuck in aquiring in OS9 for now? Also when I installed the Photoshop plugin in OS9 the installer placed all the files inside the PS7 Twain file (plugin, files, IT8 cal, help files) - is this supposed to happen cause you can't select IT8 profiles inside the PS7 Twain file.

Did you try the latest OSX Update ?
Tried the lastest OS X version of SilverFast AI for Epson, still doesn't work. Have Epson scan to file instead per your notes, still no go. Hate to say this but v**s**n works without needing Epson drivers - software not that great though compared to AI.

I just downloaded the lastest version of SliverFast (demo) and the Epson Scan to File software for OS/X. Scan to file, works fine (from photoshop & stand alone), but SilverFast does not. It complains that "There was no scanner found!..." .
So what's up with this. Is this a known problem? Is SilverFast planning to fix this any time soon?
Thank you.
