no calibration on 1680 pro

SF AI 6.0.2r31 - MacOS 10.2.6 - PS7.01

i calibrated the scanner with the IT8 targets, saved the profiles etc but when i go to options/CMS/color management input>internal my only options are <none> and colorsync, no 'calibration' option. what is going on here? i tried everything i could think of and now think there's something wrong with the software.

anyone got this working?

hmm, as happy as I am that it is not a software fault I still lost a day with trial and error, reinstalling, searching SF site, sending emails to support etc. why not simply a 'readme' file with explanation and 'what's new' in the download?
